Shaving Shantae
One day, Shantae is in high spirits. Today, she has her long-awaited facial appointment with her favorite beautician in all of Scuttle Town, a perky young woman with a bright demeanor and masterful skill, with soft hands and a sharp razor. The front of her shop is decorated with seashells, and there are fish happily swimming in her windows. When Shantae opens the shimmering door, a bell rings, and Pearl pokes her head out from a back room, her long blue hair fluttering behind her. Upon seeing Shantae, she jumps out, and hops over happily, giving Shantae a hug, picking her up off the ground, before putting her down and petting her hair, telling her, “It’s great to see you! Have you been taking care of yourself like I instructed?” Shantae giggles, and meanders in response, “Welllll, I’ve been pretty busy you know… sometimes it’s hard to find time to take care of your hair, or your face...” Pearl grabs her chin gently, and looks at either cheek, concerned, before giving a half-sigh
